Welcome! A wedding is an incredible eventful day filled with emotion. However it is on your 10th anniversary when you look at the images in your wedding album that you will truly enjoy the wonderful story. It takes an artistic eye and a journalistic style to capture those moments resulting in a storybook of images saved forever.

I am often told that my passion for photography shows in the results. My contemporary style is similar to a candid/photojournalist approach. However it is not happenstance or aggressive. Couples come to me because of my ability to capture the story of their day. Within the story are the formals or traditional portraits, these are usually family groups taken after the ceremony. The formals are usually done in color; the story is mostly in black and white. Finding a location for special photography of the couple is also important. It is my goal to capture the emotions (happiness, sadness, laughter, and tears) of the day and the right location ties everything together. In order to accomplish this it takes experience, the use of my head, hands, heart, and all of my senses! A lot of dedication is needed to capture those fleeting moments that mean so much. As the events of the day are unfolding naturally, special skills are used to be prepared for those planned events as well as those spontaneous ones. Knowing when to lead and when to follow is also a very important asset. All of this results in a stunning storybook album that truly reflects your wedding day.

As you look through the Wedding Gallery you will see a lot of variety, I will seek out the uniqueness of your day, however I still remain respectful to your family and guests.

I plan ahead and I travel. I specialize in 'Destination Weddings' for couples that do not reside where the wedding takes place. For example; on your wedding day the florist and bakers jobs are done, however the photographers is not. There is more to be done and special procedures have been developed to provide the services needed by couples that do not live where the wedding takes place. These procedures are very important and will be discussed in detail when we talk.

It is a serious trust you are placing upon your photographer. You are trusting him to preserve your wedding day for the future. You want to have confidence he can deliver what you want. How important will the pictures be? How important is it to have a photographer that will not disrupt/ruin your wedding day? This is how you determine how much you need to invest in your photographer. He has to prove he is worthy of your investment. I take this responsibility seriously, however I truly enjoy weddings, just as a professional actor looks forward to the stage and the sports star to the event, I too look forward to your wedding. When I ask "What do you want me to do?" The usual answer is "Roger, do what you do best - capture those moments for us like you have done for so many others".

Thank you for visiting my site.
